There are tons of merchandising jobs available, but for those who want to specifically work for Hallmark Cards, I did some research to find out how much they pay, and where you can apply.

What do Hallmark Card merchandisers do?

As a merchandiser for Hallmark, your main responsibilities include:

• stocking cards at various retail locations like Walmart, and Target locations
• maintaining card displays at your designated locations on a weekly basis
• keeping track of inventory, and restocking low quantities

What are the reviews from people who work for Hallmark Cards?

The reviews are mixed for this company.  Some merchandisers that work for Hallmark sing their praises because of the flexibility and steady pay that their merchandiser positions  offer.  Other employees seem very disgruntled about the pay, the hours, and the treatment. 

I guess that you take the good and bad when working for any large company.  So, if you decide you want to sign up with Hallmark as a merchandiser, you can form your own opinion from your experiences.

How much does Hallmark Cards pay merchandisers?

The pay will depend on some factors such as the area you are hired to work in, and your experience.  Merchandisers that work for Hallmark report a  pay per hour rate of $7.15 to $8.50.  The pay is more if you become a field manager who oversees other merchandisers in a particular area.

How many hours can you expect to receive per week?

Hallmark’s merchandising jobs are on a part-time basis.  The low amount of hours available is one of the complaints from current merchandisers. 

The hours vary from 8 to 30 hours per week, depending on the area you are designated to work in and the time of year.  If you are a retiree, student, stay-at-home mom, or just want a few hours per week, then the limited hours may not be a concern for you.
